Emma has experience in working with many International Rugby Union Teams, such as Wales, Ireland, Italy and Canada as a Sports Massage Therapist. She was invited to tour South Africa with the Ladies Welsh Rugby Union Squad in 2004 followed by attending Athens 2004 Olympic Games, but declined so that she could sit her finals for her degree in Science in Health, Exercise and Sport.
Since qualifying as a Physiotherapist Emma has worked for various local teams. She currently works with two rugby teams throughout the year. The Bristol Sonics (Rugby League) throughout the summer and Old Bristolians (Rugby Union) during the winter. She holds a clinic one evening per week during a training session and then attends all their matches.
Emma holds a full First Aid and Trauma Management Certificate and Defibrillator Competency Certificate. She is also qualified to suture simple, superficial wounds.
